Jackie Harvey, Ebony Vocke and Charlotte Layton all bring up the milestone, reaching the summit with contrasting journeys along the way.

Joining the club for its inaugural female season in 2015, Harvey was dragged along by a friend while she was in school without a license.

Despite that friend leaving since, the radio broadcaster has stuck around and can't wait to play this weekend.

"It's come around pretty quick, it surprised me to hear that I've played 50 games [as] I had a bit of time off with injuries and everything over the years," she said.

"It makes it that much better having two awesome girls by my side to run out with."

Harvey and Vocke were TWL North premiership teammates in 2018 and while the former used 2020 to hone her skills with Meander Valley, the latter fell pregnant - giving birth to Vincent on Christmas Day last year.

Since then, Vocke made it her pursuit to play this season and hasn't missed a game.

"I did not want to miss out on footy, especially after COVID and then it worked out well falling pregnant during COVID with no footy on anyway," Vocke said.

"As soon as I had him, I was keen to get back into it."

The midfielder put her quick return down to the welcoming nature of the club, having joined the Eagles in 2016 after playing her junior football elsewhere.

"Michael [Rigby] has messaged every year saying 'are you coming back to play this year' and Boydy [women's coach Andrew Boyd] as well.

"Every coach has always approached everyone every year to make sure they are coming back and are really welcome," she said.

It's been a big sporting week for Layton, firstly announced in Cricket Tasmania's Tigers development program and now celebrating her 50^th game.

A fourth-generation Eagle, following in the family's footsteps always seemed like the way to go for the 17-year-old.

"I started when I was 13, I've always loved playing sport and thought 'why not give footy a go' and after the first game I fell in love with it and the team aspect of it."

Joining the senior team this season, almost all of Layton's 50 games have been played in the club's junior program.

Taking over as head coach after fulfilling the assistant role previously, Boyd praised the trio's hard work and commitment to the club.

"It's a credit to the girls, it's a pretty big achievement for them," he said.

"There's not a lot of girls that have played 50 games so to have three in each game is pretty big for the club.

"Jackie is reliable, out on the field she is a good kick and you'll always see her tackling [and] Vockey and Charlotte are exactly the same.

"Vockey you'll find at the bottom of most packs trying to get the ball out, so they are all very good and admired throughout the club as well."
